About Dr. Buinewicz

Dr. Buinewicz’s Holistic and Personalized Approach to Patient Care

Dr. Buinewicz’s philosophy is to treat every patient as an individual and not as a condition. He considers the totality of an individual prior to prescribing a diagnosis or treatment plan. As a highly trained physician, his goal is ensuring an accurate diagnosis and to provide the care patients deserve. He takes the extra time to get to know a patient and to provide collaborative, effective care.

Dr. Buinewicz believes that all treatment should begin with a patient-centered, comprehensive, and holistic evaluation. Patients are involved in creating a treatment plan that may include medications, therapy, or a combination of both. He believes that therapy is often a critical component of care, as evidence shows that it provides benefits over medication alone. His therapeutic approach is tailored to the individual patient and contains elements of psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
